This print was created speaking to ideas of making art during the Anthropocene, focusing on Mans’ relationship to nature represented by the ocean. Coming from a Caribbean island the ocean has always been a force present in my life. Currently being landlocked in Calgary has inspired me to introspect on this, and creating this work in reaction.

This work is part of an ongoing series of prints where I take imagery gleaned from my subconscious during dreaming and strive to contexualise and formulate a cohesive artwork that captures the essence of the dream but also speaks to the realities experienced during consciousness.

* Hand-carved linoblock print with watercolour colouring, printed using an etching press.
* Printed onto Hahnemule White paper with oil-based ink.
* Paper size is 20 x 14 inches

*Due to the process of making the edition each print is unique and can have slight variation from advertised pictures
* Each print is signed and numbered

This print comes shipped in a plastic sleeve with cardboard backing which is further wrapped in waxed paper for extra protection.
